3 Spacious Workshop Areas w/ Office, Kitchen & 2-Car Garage (HQ Plans & 3D Concepts)
This garage layout was created for someone who needs not just car storage but also a shop area, office area, and a functional kitchenette. With its square-shaped planning, the floor plan maximizes the space efficiency.
The main floor is divided into three parts. The first one is the garage. It is big enough to have 2 cars at the same time. It has equally spaced windows for ventilation and sunlight. It has a staircase that leads to the lower level.
The second part is for the metal workshop with a powder room attached to it for convenience. Lastly, the third part is a woodshop. With its flexible space, it can be used as an exhibition area for visitors. It can also be used for conducting workshops for enthusiastic learners.
There is a common staircase between the garage and metal workshop to reach on the second floor. A conference room and four offices are neatly planned. The conference room is in the middle of all the offices for better access. A mechanical room and a powder room are sandwiched in the corner.
This floor plan is designed for terrain-type houses. The lower floor has a workshop, canning kitchen, and wide porches.
The workshop can be converted into any space according to the owners’ needs. The canning kitchen on the left has a one-wall kitchen and a u-shaped countertop. It is designed in keeping the workers in mind. It has enough space to put extra seats. Also, there are two covered porches on both sides. They can be used as outdoor seating or can be turned into entertainment zones. With a ping pong table or a chessboard, workers or owners can utilize their free time. All of the rooms have sufficient windows to let the fresh air pass inside the house.
Note:this home may be constructed using metal framing, however, you should always consult your local architect-engineer and receive professional evaluation if such an option is feasible for this plan and your local building codes.
