The cost of the LoftCube is $74,000: An easy option for those who can add a self sustained unit to their existing property.
Designed by German designer Werner Aisslinger, the LoftCube is basically a tiny prefabricated pod home that can be transported and installed pretty much anywhere, making it ideal for use as a pop-up holiday house in remote places, or for hotels that want to add a special suite in an unusual location.
LoftCube is elegant modern loft wrapped with panoramic floor- to-ceiling windows that fill the interior with daylight and natural ventilation while opening up the interior to incredible views.
It can be easily assembled off-site and then trucked or lifted by helicopter to any location.
The LoftCube is prefabricated, which saves energy and material use, and it’s designed to have a minimal footprint. The prefab can be customized with energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.
The luxurious yet tiny prefab measures just 420 square feet, and it can expand outdoors with an optional patio. The structure of the LoftCube is also modular, allowing you to combine several units to create a larger space if necessary and it can be joined with other units to create a modular LoftCube complex. The interior of the retreat is completely customizable. Each living space capable of being modified according to the owners needs. You can even extend to the exterior with an optional patio area.
It only takes 5-7 days to set up a LoftCube, and the units can be disassembled in just two days and transported by truck from place to place. The sky is the limit with this innovative prefab that takes small space living to exciting new heights.
